SPPS Hmong and Karen Teachers Celebrate Their Book Launches

Congratulations to SPPS world language and dual language immersion teachers who recently published books in Hmong, Karen and English! They were recently featured at their book launch event at Washington Technology High School.

The authors represented the second cohort of the Untamed Roots Collective, a collaborative effort that supports self-published authors creating print literature in Hmong, and this year they supported a Karen author as well.

Authors include Pawku Hser (Como Park Sr.), Chivouayi Lo (Johnson Sr.), Pang Yang (Txuj Ci Lower), See Pha Vang (Office of Multilingual Learning), Na Yang (Txuj Ci Lower), and Moslais Xiong (Txuj Ci Lower).
